The Loan Process

1. Qualification

This is typically a conversation over the phone where your needs and goals are identified.

3. Processing

The application is processed and analyzed by our office, then submitted to suitable prospective lenders for review.

4. Underwriting

The application is reviewed and underwritten by prospective lenders (ie. bank, trust company, mortgage investment corporation etc.)


2. Apply For Your Loan

The mortgage application can be completed in person or by phone. Necessary information is obtained from the applicants.

5. Appraising Your Home

In most, but not all cases, a full appraisal of the home or subject property will be completed, in order to assess the current market value.

6. Closing

The final mortgage commitment is issued by the lender. We meet again in order to review, consider and sign the mortgage approval paperwork.  The paperwork and supporting documentation are then sent to the lender and law office for review and legal document preparation. The borrowers meet with their lawyer's office and the loan funds soon after.
